In a growing effort to make U.S. higher education more accessible, UPI Study and Pathways College have signed a formal articulation agreement that opens affordable, flexible pathways for students around the world to earn recognized U.S. degrees.

The partnership underscores both institutions’ shared commitment to academic mobility, affordability, and quality learning — ensuring that UPI Study students can seamlessly transfer their earned college credits toward degree programs at Pathways College without repeating coursework.

A Shared Mission of Opportunity and Flexibility

Pathways College, headquartered in Tempe, Arizona, is an accredited institution dedicated to providing working adults and international learners with online degree programs that balance academic rigor and real-world relevance.

Under this new agreement, students completing ACE- and NCCRS-recommended UPI Study courses can transfer their credits directly to Pathways College toward either an associate or bachelor’s degree, depending on their academic goals.

Pathways College may accept up to 90 transfer credits for bachelor’s degrees and 45 credits for associate degrees. Students are required to complete at least 25% of their total coursework through Pathways College to meet residency and graduation requirements.

How the Partnership Works

The articulation agreement, signed in June 2025 by Manit Kaushal (Chief Technology Officer, UPI Study) and Dr. Ella Baker (Chancellor, Pathways College), formalizes a structured transfer pathway that prevents duplication of learning and recognizes prior academic achievement.

Students can begin with UPI Study’s ACE- and NCCRS-evaluated online courses for as low as $99 per month, receive official transcripts, and then transfer directly into eligible Pathways College degree programs.

Both institutions have agreed to maintain transparency, share transfer data annually, and collaborate on communication initiatives to support student success.
