For thousands of students around the world, earning a U.S. degree is a lifelong goal—but often, the cost and complexity of credit transfer stand in the way. Now, UPI Study and Thomas Edison State University (TESU) have partnered to create a direct, affordable, and academically rigorous route to recognized U.S. credentials.

This partnership builds on TESU’s legacy as one of America’s most flexible and transfer-friendly universities. By formally recognizing UPI Study’s ACE- and NCCRS-evaluated coursework, TESU now allows students to apply previously earned credits toward a bachelor’s degree—saving both time and money.

A Partnership Built on Flexibility and Access

TESU is known for serving adult learners, international students, and working professionals who need a university that fits their lives. Its degree programs are designed to honor prior learning, online coursework, and professional experience—making it a natural partner for UPI Study, whose affordable, accredited courses already meet ACE and NCCRS college credit standards.

Under the new articulation agreement, students can complete UPI Study courses for as low as $99 per month and transfer them directly to TESU for degree credit. This streamlined approach reduces duplication, accelerates completion, and provides a more inclusive path to a U.S. degree from a respected public university.

How Credit Transfer Works

Students who complete UPI Study courses receive verified ACE or NCCRS transcripts, which TESU recognizes under this agreement. Each course has been reviewed for academic equivalency, ensuring that learning outcomes match TESU’s degree requirements.

Below is the official course equivalency list as approved in the UPI Study–TESU Articulation Agreement (May 2025).
