CLEP Credits at Marymount California University

Marymount California University was a private university in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. It served students on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in Los Angeles County and offered a small-campus setting near the Pacific coast. The institution later ceased operations as a degree-granting university.

The university offered undergraduate and graduate study in a range of liberal arts and professional fields. Its academic profile included business, communication, psychology, and related programs, with an emphasis on small classes and individualized attention. Because program offerings changed over time, a precise current inventory is not appropriate to state without a live catalog.

For transfer and credit-by-exam purposes, Marymount California University was a private institution that accepted transfer credit subject to institutional review. CLEP and other exam-based credit decisions at schools like this are typically made by the registrar or academic office according to published transfer policies and degree requirements. Applicants should verify whether a specific exam or course applies to their intended program.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Marymount California University's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Marymount California University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
