CLEP Exams at Atlantic Union College

Atlantic Union College was a private college in South Lancaster, Massachusetts, in the United States. It was affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church and served students in the New England region. The college is no longer operating as a degree-granting institution.

Historically, Atlantic Union College offered undergraduate education in a range of liberal arts and professional fields. Because the institution is closed, current program offerings are not available. For historical reference, it is best described as a small church-affiliated liberal arts college rather than a large research university.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Atlantic Union College should be treated as a closed institution. That means students and evaluators generally need to rely on archived catalogs, transcripts, and the policies of receiving institutions rather than current school guidance. Any credit-by-exam or transfer decisions would have been governed by the college's policies while it was operating.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Atlantic Union College's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Atlantic Union College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
