CLEP Exams at Walden University (Columbia)

Walden University is a private university headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with a Columbia, Maryland location listed for institutional purposes. It is best known as a largely online institution serving adult learners and working professionals. Because the Columbia site is not the university's main campus, location-specific academic details may be limited.

Walden offers a wide range of online degree and certificate programs across fields such as education, health sciences, nursing, psychology, public health, business, and social work. The university is known for graduate and professional study and for flexible online delivery designed for students balancing school with work and family responsibilities. Program availability can vary by college and degree level.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Walden is generally a transfer-oriented institution, but credit acceptance is determined by university policy and the specific program. Students should expect that prior college coursework, exams, and other prior learning may be reviewed for possible credit, but not all credits are guaranteed to apply. Because policies can change and may differ by program, applicants should confirm current transfer and exam-credit rules directly with Walden before enrolling.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Walden University - Columbia's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Walden University - Columbia transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
