CLEP Exams at New College of Florida

New College of Florida is a public liberal arts college in Sarasota, Florida. It is the honors college of the State University System of Florida and is known for its small, discussion-based academic environment.

The college offers undergraduate study in the liberal arts and sciences, with individualized academic planning and close faculty mentorship. Its academic model emphasizes independent work, tutorials, and interdisciplinary study rather than a large menu of highly specialized degree tracks.

For transfer and credit-by-exam purposes, New College of Florida evaluates outside coursework and standardized exam credit through its academic policies. Students should expect credit acceptance to depend on course equivalency, academic department review, and registrar procedures rather than automatic blanket transfer.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on New College's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. New College of Florida transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
