CLEP Credits at Lee University

Lee University is a private Christian university in Cleveland, Tennessee, in the southeastern part of the state. It is affiliated with the Church of God and serves students in undergraduate and graduate study. The campus is located in the Chattanooga metropolitan area.

Lee offers a broad range of academic programs across the arts and sciences, business, education, nursing, music, and ministry-related fields. The university is especially known for its Christian liberal arts environment and for programs that combine classroom study with practical experience. It also has a strong campus life and a visible emphasis on faith-based learning.

For transfer and credit-by-exam purposes, Lee University is a good candidate for students who want to ask about prior learning credit, but policies can vary by course and program. CLEP and other exam credits are typically evaluated through the university's transfer-credit process rather than being applied automatically in every case. Students should confirm in advance whether a specific exam score will satisfy a general education, elective, or major requirement.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Lee University's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Lee University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
