Transfer Credit Specialist · TransferCredit.org
Rachel spent six years as a credit evaluator at two large public universities before moving into writing and advising. Her job at those institutions was to open a transfer packet, compare the incoming coursework against the degree audit, and decide what counted and at what level. She approved a lot of credits, denied a lot of credits, and developed strong opinions about what makes a transfer application easy to say yes to.
That background runs through her writing here. She's less interested in what the student thinks should count and more interested in what the evaluator on the other side is going to see when the file hits their screen. Most of her posts try to translate one into the other.
