CLEP Exams at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design

Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design is a private art and design college in Denver, Colorado. It focuses on creative education in a studio-based environment. The college serves students interested in visual arts, design, and related creative fields.

RMCAD offers undergraduate and graduate study in areas such as fine arts, illustration, animation, graphic design, interior design, and related disciplines. Its strengths are centered on hands-on creative work, portfolio development, and instruction from practicing artists and designers. The college is known for its emphasis on professional preparation for creative careers.

For transfer and credit-by-exam planning, students should review RMCAD's current transfer-credit and prior-learning policies directly with the institution. CLEP acceptance can vary by course, program, and degree requirements, so it is important to confirm whether a specific exam will apply to a student's intended major. The safest approach is to verify credit applicability before taking an exam.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on RMCAD's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
