CLEP Exams at Keystone College

Keystone College is a private college in La Plume, Pennsylvania, in the northeastern part of the state. It serves undergraduate students in a rural campus setting and is known for offering a small-college environment. The college is located near Scranton in Lackawanna County.

Keystone offers undergraduate programs across a range of liberal arts, sciences, business, education, and professional fields. The college also emphasizes experiential learning and hands-on opportunities that connect classroom study with practical experience. Specific program offerings can change over time, so prospective students should consult the current academic catalog for the latest list.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Keystone College should be treated as a regionally accredited institution that may evaluate prior learning and external coursework through its own academic policies. Credit acceptance for CLEP exams, transfer courses, and other forms of prior learning is determined by the college rather than assumed automatically. Students should confirm in advance whether a particular exam or course will apply to their intended program.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Keystone College's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Keystone College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
