CLEP Exams at Morris College

Morris College is a private historically Black college in Sumter, South Carolina. It is affiliated with the Baptist tradition and serves undergraduate students in a small-college setting. The college is located in the city of Sumter in central South Carolina.

Morris College offers undergraduate study in a range of liberal arts and professional fields. Its academic offerings include programs in areas such as business, education, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. As a small HBCU, it is known for a close-knit campus environment and a mission centered on access and student support.

For transfer and credit-by-exam purposes, Morris College should be treated as a college that evaluates outside coursework and standardized exam credit through its own academic policies. CLEP and transfer credit acceptance can vary by subject, score, and degree program, so students should confirm current requirements directly with the college. The most reliable source is the institution's official transfer or academic records guidance.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Morris College's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Morris College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
