CLEP Exams at Saint John Vianney College Seminary

Saint John Vianney College Seminary is a Catholic seminary in Miami, Florida, serving men preparing for priestly formation. It is located in the Archdiocese of Miami and operates as a college seminary for undergraduate-level formation. The school is associated with the Catholic Church and focuses on discernment and preparation for ministry.

The seminary’s academic offerings are centered on undergraduate liberal arts and pre-theology formation rather than a broad catalog of majors. Its strengths are in spiritual, pastoral, and human formation alongside academic study. Because it is a seminary, its curriculum is designed to support preparation for further theological study and priestly formation.

For CLEP and transfer credit purposes, Saint John Vianney College Seminary should be treated as an institution with its own academic policies rather than assumed to follow a generic college model. Credit-by-exam and transfer decisions are typically handled through the school’s official academic or registrar processes. Applicants should verify whether specific CLEP exams or prior coursework are accepted before relying on outside credit.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Saint John Vianney College Seminary's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Saint John Vianney College Seminary transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
