CLEP Exams at Susquehanna University

Susquehanna University is a private liberal arts university in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, in the Susquehanna River valley. It is known for its residential campus and undergraduate-focused environment. The university is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Susquehanna offers a broad liberal arts curriculum with undergraduate majors across the arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, business, and education. The university is also known for experiential learning opportunities, including study abroad and internships. Its academic profile emphasizes close faculty interaction and a broad-based education.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Susquehanna University is the kind of institution that typically reviews prior learning through its registrar and academic departments rather than granting blanket credit automatically. Students should expect credit decisions to depend on the specific exam, score, course equivalency, and degree requirements. Because policies can change, the university’s current transfer-credit and credit-by-exam rules should be confirmed directly with the registrar.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Susquehanna's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Susquehanna University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
