CLEP Exams at University of Nebraska Kearney

The University of Nebraska at Kearney is a public university in Kearney, Nebraska, and part of the University of Nebraska system. It serves students in central Nebraska and beyond with a traditional residential campus and a broad mix of undergraduate and graduate study options. The university is commonly referred to as UNK.

UNK offers programs across arts and sciences, business, education, and health-related fields, along with graduate study in selected areas. It is known for teacher preparation, professional programs, and a campus experience that combines classroom learning with internships, clinical experiences, and other applied opportunities. Students can pursue both liberal arts and career-focused pathways.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, UNK is a public university that evaluates prior learning through its own academic policies. Students who have earned credit by exam or at another institution should expect those credits to be reviewed for applicability to their degree program. Acceptance depends on UNK's transfer and residency rules, the course equivalency, and how the credit fits the student's major or general education requirements.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on UNK's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. University of Nebraska Kearney transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
