CLEP Exams at Assumption College for Sisters

Assumption College for Sisters is a private Catholic college in Mendham, New Jersey. It is sponsored by the Sisters of Christian Charity and serves as a small residential college with a religious mission. The institution is located in Morris County in the northern part of the state.

The college has traditionally focused on liberal arts and religious studies, with academic offerings shaped by its mission to prepare women for service and further study. Because it is a small institution, its academic profile is centered more on foundational coursework and individualized instruction than on a broad catalog of majors. It is best known for its Catholic identity and close-knit campus environment.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Assumption College for Sisters should be treated as a college that may evaluate prior learning through its own academic policies rather than as an institution with universally standardized credit-by-exam rules. Credit acceptance can depend on the specific exam, score, course equivalency, and degree program. Students should confirm current policies directly with the college before relying on CLEP or transfer credit.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Assumption College for Sisters's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Assumption College for Sisters transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
