CLEP Exams at Dordt University

Dordt University is a private Christian university in Sioux Center, Iowa. It is affiliated with the Christian Reformed tradition and serves undergraduate and graduate students in a small-college setting. The campus is located in northwest Iowa.

Dordt offers a range of undergraduate majors and graduate programs with an emphasis on Christian liberal arts and professional preparation. The university is known for integrating faith and learning across disciplines and for programs in areas such as education, business, engineering, nursing, and the sciences. It also emphasizes experiential learning and service-oriented education.

For transfer and credit-by-exam questions, Dordt University is the institution that evaluates whether prior college coursework or exam credit can apply toward a student’s degree. CLEP and other transfer-credit policies can vary by department, program, and degree requirements, so students should confirm current acceptance rules directly with the university. Credit is typically awarded only when it fits Dordt’s academic standards and program requirements.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Dordt University's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Dordt University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
