How Transfer Credits Work at Prairie State College

Prairie State College is a CLEP test center, so students may be able to use College-Level Examination Program exams to demonstrate prior learning, subject to the college's policies. As with many community colleges, transfer credit and credit-by-exam decisions depend on institutional review and the requirements of the receiving program or institution.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on PSC's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.
