Wallace Community College is the kind of institution that typically evaluates prior learning and exam-based credit through established academic policies. Students interested in CLEP should confirm in advance whether a specific exam score will be accepted for the intended course or requirement. Transfer credit decisions may also depend on the receiving program and the student’s degree plan.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on LBW Community College's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Lurleen B Wallace Community College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
