CLEP Credits at San Jacinto College Central

San Jacinto College Central is one of the campuses of San Jacinto College, a public community college system in the Pasadena, Texas area. The Central Campus serves students in the greater Houston region and offers a local option for college coursework, workforce training, and university transfer preparation.

The college offers associate degrees, certificates, and workforce-focused programs across a range of academic and technical fields. As a community college, it is designed to support both students planning to transfer to a four-year institution and those seeking career-oriented credentials.

For CLEP and other credit-by-exam questions, San Jacinto College is the kind of institution that commonly evaluates prior learning and transfer credit through established college policies. Students should confirm whether CLEP scores, course equivalencies, and degree applicability are accepted for their specific program and catalog year before relying on exam credit.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on San Jac's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. San Jacinto College Central transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
