CLEP Exams at Texas Wesleyan University

Texas Wesleyan University is a private university in Fort Worth, Texas. It is affiliated with the United Methodist tradition and serves students in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area and beyond. The university’s main campus is in Fort Worth.

Texas Wesleyan offers undergraduate, graduate, and professional study across a range of fields. It is known for small classes and a student-centered environment, with programs in areas such as business, education, health professions, and the liberal arts. The university also includes professional programs that serve working adults and graduate students.

For transfer and credit-by-exam planning, Texas Wesleyan is the kind of institution where students should confirm how outside coursework and exam credit will apply to a specific degree plan. CLEP and other transfer-credit decisions are typically evaluated by the university on a course-by-course basis through its academic policies. Students should review the current transfer and credit policies before relying on exam credit for graduation requirements.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on TWU's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Texas Wesleyan University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
