CLEP Credits at Five Towns College

Five Towns College is a private college in Dix Hills, New York, on Long Island. It focuses on music, media, business, education, and related creative fields. The college serves students seeking career-oriented undergraduate and graduate study in a suburban New York setting.

The college is known for programs in music performance, music business, audio recording, film and television, business, and education. Its academic profile emphasizes hands-on training and professional preparation in the arts and media. Because program offerings can change, it is safest to describe the school as a specialized private college rather than to list an exact program count.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Five Towns College should be treated as a school that evaluates prior college-level learning through its own admissions and registrar processes. Students should expect credit-by-exam and transfer decisions to depend on the specific exam, score, course equivalency, and degree program. The college’s policies should be checked directly before assuming that CLEP credit will apply to a particular major or requirement.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Five Towns College's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Five Towns College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
