The university offers undergraduate and graduate study through a range of academic programs in the liberal arts, sciences, business, education, and related professional fields. For transfer and credit-by-exam planning, Hannibal-Lagrange University is the kind of institution where students should verify how outside coursework and exam credit will apply to their chosen degree. CLEP and other transfer credits are typically evaluated according to institutional policies, program requirements, and residency expectations. Students should consult the university’s published transfer-credit guidance or an admissions counselor before relying on exam credit for graduation planning.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on HLGU's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Hannibal-Lagrange University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
