For transfer and credit-by-exam planning, students should consult La Sierra University’s official transfer credit and registrar policies. CLEP and other exam credits are typically evaluated through institutional policies rather than assumed automatically, and applicability can vary by course, score, and degree program. Students should confirm how any exam or transfer credit will apply to their specific major before enrolling or testing.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on La Sierra University's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. La Sierra University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
