CLEP Credits at Lackawanna College

Lackawanna College is a private college in Scranton, Pennsylvania. It serves students from northeastern Pennsylvania and beyond, with a main campus in Scranton and additional instructional locations in the region. The college offers a mix of associate, bachelor's, and certificate options.

The college is known for career-focused and transfer-oriented academic offerings in areas such as health sciences, business, criminal justice, and the liberal arts. It also offers applied and professional programs designed to support students preparing for immediate employment or further study. Program availability can vary by campus and delivery format.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Lackawanna College is the kind of institution that may evaluate prior learning and standardized exam credit through its academic policies. Students should expect credit acceptance to depend on the specific exam, score, course equivalency, and degree program. Because policies can change, the registrar or admissions office is the appropriate source for current CLEP and transfer-credit guidance.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Lackawanna College's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Lackawanna College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
