CLEP Exams at Marietta College

Marietta College is a private liberal arts college in Marietta, Ohio, in the southeastern part of the state. It is a residential undergraduate institution with a long history in the Ohio River Valley. The college emphasizes a broad liberal arts education in a small-college setting.

The college offers undergraduate programs across the arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and professional fields. Marietta is especially known for its strong liberal arts foundation and for programs that connect classroom learning with hands-on experience. Students can pursue study in a range of majors and pre-professional pathways.

For transfer and credit-by-exam purposes, Marietta College evaluates credit according to its own academic policies and registrar procedures. CLEP and other transfer credits are typically considered only when they meet institutional standards and fit within degree requirements. Students should confirm current policies directly with the college before relying on exam credit for graduation planning.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on MC's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Marietta College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
