Policies can vary by department and by whether the credit is being used for general education, elective, or major requirements.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on MCC's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Miles Community College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
