CLEP Credits at North Park University

North Park University is a private Christian university in Chicago, Illinois. It is located on the city’s North Side and is affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant Church. The university serves undergraduate and graduate students in a urban setting with access to Chicago-area opportunities.

North Park offers a range of undergraduate majors and graduate programs across the arts and sciences, business, education, nursing, and theology. The university is known for combining liberal arts study with professional preparation and for emphasizing experiential learning. Its location in Chicago also supports internships, clinical experiences, and community engagement.

For CLEP and transfer credit purposes, North Park University evaluates prior learning through its own academic policies rather than automatically accepting every exam or course. Students should expect credit decisions to depend on the specific exam, score, course equivalency, and degree program requirements. The most reliable source for current CLEP and transfer-credit guidance is the university’s official admissions or registrar information.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on NPU's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. North Park University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
