For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Paris Junior College is a public two-year institution that may evaluate prior learning and exam-based credit according to its own policies. CLEP credit acceptance is not automatic and depends on the college's current rules, score requirements, and how the credit applies to a student's program. Students planning to use CLEP should confirm eligibility with the college before testing.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on PJC's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Paris Junior College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
