CLEP Credits at The Baptist College of Florida

The Baptist College of Florida is a private Christian college in Graceville, Florida. It is affiliated with the Florida Baptist Convention and serves students seeking faith-based higher education in the Florida Panhandle. The college is now known as Baptist University of Florida, but it has long been identified with the Baptist College of Florida name.

The college offers undergraduate and graduate study with an emphasis on ministry, theology, and other Christian-centered academic areas. Its academic profile is strongest in programs related to biblical studies, ministry preparation, and church leadership. As a smaller faith-based institution, it is oriented toward personalized instruction and vocational preparation for church and service roles.

For CLEP and transfer credit purposes, the school should be treated as a private institution with its own policies rather than assumed to follow a statewide public-college pattern. Students seeking to use CLEP scores or transfer coursework should confirm whether the specific exam or course is accepted for their intended program. Credit acceptance can vary by department, degree level, and residency requirements.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Baptist College of Florida's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. The Baptist College of Florida transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
