CLEP Exams at Brenau University

Brenau University is a private university in Gainesville, Georgia, with additional instructional presence in the region. It is a long-established institution that serves undergraduate and graduate students in a range of professional and liberal arts fields. The university is known for its historic roots and its campus presence in northeast Georgia.

Brenau offers programs across multiple academic areas, including business, education, health-related fields, the arts, and other professional studies. It is also known for its women-centered undergraduate tradition at the Gainesville campus, while serving a broader student population through other programs and locations. Students can pursue both traditional and career-oriented study paths.

For transfer and credit-by-exam students, Brenau’s policies are best understood through its official transfer credit and academic records processes rather than assumptions about blanket acceptance. CLEP and other prior-learning credits are typically evaluated according to university policy, program requirements, and registrar review. Students should confirm how any exam credit applies to their specific degree plan before relying on it.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Brenau University's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Brenau University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
