Transfer credit decisions are typically made by the college on a course-by-course basis.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on NNMC's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Northern New Mexico College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
