CLEP Credits at Ouachita Baptist University

Ouachita Baptist University is a private Christian university in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. It is affiliated with the Baptist tradition and serves students in a residential liberal arts setting. The campus is located in southwest Arkansas.

Ouachita offers undergraduate programs across the liberal arts and sciences, along with professional and pre-professional study. The university is known for its faith-based environment, small-campus experience, and emphasis on close faculty-student interaction. It also offers graduate study in selected areas.

For CLEP and transfer credit purposes, Ouachita Baptist University accepts transfer coursework and may award credit for approved examination or prior learning pathways according to institutional policy. CLEP credit acceptance is subject to the university's current rules, score requirements, and degree applicability. Students should confirm how any exam or transfer credit will apply to their specific program before enrolling or testing.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on OBU's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Ouachita Baptist University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
