For CLEP and other credit-by-exam pathways, South Florida State College is a public institution that commonly participates in transfer-credit practices used by Florida colleges, but specific acceptance decisions depend on the exam, score, and current college policy. Students should confirm how CLEP credit applies to their intended program before testing. Transfer credit is typically evaluated in the context of degree requirements and residency rules.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on SFSC's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. South Florida State College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
