CLEP Credits at Valencia College (West)

Valencia College is a public college in the Orlando, Florida area, and Valencia College - West refers to the West Campus location. Valencia serves students across Central Florida through multiple campuses and online offerings. The West Campus is one of the college's instructional sites in the Orlando area.

Valencia offers associate degrees, certificates, and workforce-focused programs, along with transfer pathways for students planning to continue to four-year institutions. The college is known for its emphasis on access, affordability, and student support. It also participates in a range of academic and career-oriented pathways typical of a large public community college.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Valencia College is a transfer-friendly institution in the sense that it accepts credit from approved external sources and evaluates prior learning through established college policies. Students should expect credit-by-exam and transfer decisions to depend on official score reports, course equivalencies, and program requirements. Because policies can vary by subject and degree plan, students should confirm applicability with the college before relying on exam credit for graduation planning.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Valencia West's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Valencia College - West transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
