Walsh University is a private Catholic university in North Canton, Ohio, in the Canton area of northeastern Ohio. It was founded by the Brothers of Christian Instruction and serves undergraduate and graduate students in a suburban campus setting.

The university offers a range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs across fields such as business, education, nursing, health sciences, and the liberal arts. Walsh is known for combining career-oriented study with a values-based Catholic mission and service-oriented learning.

For CLEP and transfer credit purposes, Walsh University is the kind of institution that typically evaluates prior learning through its registrar and academic departments rather than applying a one-size-fits-all rule. Students interested in CLEP, AP, or transfer credit should expect credit decisions to depend on the exam, course equivalency, program of study, and minimum score or grade requirements set by the university.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Walsh's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Walsh University - North Canton transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
