CLEP Credits at Centenary College

Centenary College is a private liberal arts institution in Hackettstown, New Jersey. It is now known as Centenary University, and its campus serves undergraduate and graduate students in a suburban setting in northwestern New Jersey. The school has long emphasized small-college learning and close student support.

The institution offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs through its academic schools and professional programs. Its strengths are commonly associated with liberal arts study, career preparation, and hands-on learning opportunities. Because program offerings can change, it is best to confirm current majors and concentrations directly with the university.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Centenary University should be treated as a school that evaluates outside credit through its own academic policies. Students seeking credit by examination or transfer credit should expect the university to review official score reports, course equivalencies, and degree applicability before credit is posted. Policies can vary by exam, department, and program level, so students should consult the university’s current transfer and registrar guidance.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Centenary College's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Centenary College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
