How Transfer Credits Work at DeVry University - Richardson

For CLEP and other transfer-credit questions, DeVry University is generally transfer-oriented and evaluates prior learning on a case-by-case basis. Credit-by-exam policies can differ by program, course equivalency, and residency requirements, so students should confirm how any CLEP score would apply to their specific degree plan. The most reliable source is DeVry's official transfer-credit and admissions guidance.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on DeVry's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.
