CLEP Exams at Oklahoma Wesleyan University

Oklahoma Wesleyan University is a private Christian university in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. It is affiliated with the Wesleyan tradition and serves students through undergraduate and graduate study in a faith-based environment. The university’s main campus is in Bartlesville, in northeastern Oklahoma.

The university offers a range of academic programs across liberal arts, professional, and pre-professional fields. Its academic identity emphasizes Christian formation, small-campus community, and preparation for careers and graduate study. Specific program availability can change, so prospective students should confirm current majors and degree options directly with the university.

For credit-by-exam and transfer-credit planning, Oklahoma Wesleyan University should be treated as a school that evaluates outside credit through its own academic policies. CLEP and other exam-based credit are typically subject to institutional approval, score requirements, and degree applicability. Students should verify in advance whether a particular exam will satisfy general education, elective, or major requirements.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on OKWU's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Oklahoma Wesleyan University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
