CLEP Credits at Union University (Jackson)

Union University is a private Christian university in Jackson, Tennessee. It is located in West Tennessee and serves students through undergraduate, graduate, and professional study. The university is known for combining a faith-based mission with a residential campus experience.

Union offers a range of academic programs across the liberal arts, sciences, business, education, nursing, and other professional fields. It is especially recognized for its Christian commitment, its nursing and health-related programs, and its emphasis on undergraduate teaching and student formation. Graduate and professional study are also part of the university's academic profile.

For CLEP and transfer credit purposes, Union University is the kind of institution that typically evaluates prior learning through its registrar and academic offices rather than granting blanket credit automatically. Students seeking credit by exam or transfer credit should expect review against Union's published policies, degree requirements, and course equivalencies. Because policies can change and may differ by program, students should confirm current acceptance rules directly with the university.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Union's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Union University - Jackson transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
