CLEP Credits at Ursuline College

Ursuline College is a private Catholic college in Pepper Pike, Ohio, in the Cleveland area. It was founded by the Ursuline Sisters and continues to be associated with the Ursuline educational tradition. The college serves undergraduate and graduate students in a suburban setting.

The college offers a range of liberal arts, professional, and graduate programs, with particular recognition for health-related and professional fields. Ursuline is known for its small-college environment and for combining classroom learning with practical preparation. Students can pursue study across disciplines in a setting that emphasizes individualized attention.

For transfer and credit-by-exam planning, students should consult Ursuline College’s current transfer credit and academic policies rather than assume blanket CLEP acceptance. Credit policies can vary by department, program, and course equivalency, and some exams may be accepted only under specific conditions. The most reliable source is the college’s official transfer credit guidance and the registrar’s office.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Ursuline College's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Ursuline College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
