For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Williston State College is a public college that evaluates prior learning and outside coursework through its academic records processes. Students seeking credit by exam or transfer credit should consult the college's current policies and the registrar for course-by-course applicability. Credit acceptance can vary by program, course equivalency, and residency requirements.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on WSC's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Williston State College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
