For CLEP and transfer credit purposes, Wofford College should be treated as a private liberal arts institution that evaluates outside credit through its own academic policies. Credit-by-exam and transfer decisions are typically handled on a case-by-case basis by the college, rather than being automatically accepted. Students should confirm in advance whether a specific CLEP exam or transfer course will apply to their degree plan.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Wofford College's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Wofford College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
