CLEP Exams at Gardner Webb University

Gardner-Webb University is a private Christian university in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. It is affiliated with the Baptist tradition and serves students in undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. The university’s main campus is in Cleveland County, in the western part of the state.

Gardner-Webb offers a broad mix of academic programs through its colleges and schools, including liberal arts, business, education, nursing, and health sciences. It is known for combining classroom study with practical and service-oriented learning. The university also offers graduate and professional study in several fields.

For transfer and credit-by-exam students, Gardner-Webb is the kind of institution where policies should be checked carefully with the university before enrollment or matriculation. CLEP and other transfer-credit decisions are typically handled through official academic and registrar processes, and acceptance can depend on the specific exam, score, and degree program. Students should confirm how any prior learning will apply to their intended major.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on GWU's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Gardner-Webb University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
