Credit acceptance can depend on the specific exam, score, course equivalency, and degree program requirements, so students should confirm how any CLEP or transfer credit would apply to their intended major.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on SUNY Brockport's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. SUNY at Brockport transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
