CLEP Credits at Young Harris College

Young Harris College is a private liberal arts college in Young Harris, Georgia, in the north Georgia mountains. It offers a residential undergraduate experience in a small-college setting. The college is known for its close-knit campus community and scenic location.

The college offers undergraduate programs across the liberal arts and sciences, along with professional and pre-professional study options. Students can pursue a range of majors and minors, and the school emphasizes small classes and individualized attention. It also provides opportunities for experiential learning and campus involvement.

For transfer and credit-by-exam students, Young Harris College is the kind of institution where policies should be checked carefully with the registrar before enrolling. CLEP and transfer credit acceptance can vary by course, score, and degree program, so students should confirm how any prior learning will apply to their specific major or graduation plan. The safest approach is to review the college's current transfer-credit and credit-by-exam policies directly with the institution.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on YHC's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Young Harris College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
