For CLEP and transfer credit purposes, Averett University is the kind of institution that commonly evaluates prior learning through standardized exam credit and transfer coursework, but the exact acceptance rules depend on the university's current policies. Students should confirm whether a specific CLEP exam, score, or external course will apply to their intended program before enrolling. Policies can vary by major, degree level, and residency requirements.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Averett University's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Averett University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
