CLEP Exams at Catawba College

Catawba College is a private liberal arts college in Salisbury, North Carolina. It is a residential institution with a campus setting in the Piedmont region of the state. The college serves undergraduate students and is known for a close-knit academic environment.

Catawba offers a range of undergraduate majors and pre-professional pathways across the arts, sciences, business, education, and related fields. The college emphasizes small classes, faculty interaction, and experiential learning. It is also known for programs connected to sustainability and the environment, including its nationally recognized environmental work.

For CLEP and transfer credit purposes, Catawba College is the kind of institution that typically evaluates prior learning through its registrar and academic offices rather than granting blanket credit automatically. Students should expect credit decisions to depend on the specific exam, score, course equivalency, and degree program. Because policies can change, applicants should confirm current CLEP and transfer-credit rules directly with the college before relying on outside coursework or exam results.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Catawba's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Catawba College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
