CLEP Exams at Coker College

Coker College is a private liberal arts college in Hartsville, South Carolina. It is now known as Coker University, but the institution was historically called Coker College. The campus serves students in a small-college setting in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina.

Coker offers undergraduate liberal arts and professional programs, along with graduate study. The institution is known for a student-centered approach and for combining classroom learning with practical experience. Because program offerings can change over time, it is safest to describe the school broadly rather than list an exact count of majors.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Coker’s policies should be checked directly with the institution because credit-by-exam and transfer rules can vary by department and program. Like many regionally accredited colleges, it may consider prior college coursework and standardized exam credit, but applicability depends on official evaluation. Students should confirm whether a specific CLEP exam or transfer course will satisfy general education, elective, or major requirements.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Coker College's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Coker College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
