For transfer and credit-by-exam planning, students should consult Davis and Elkins College directly because acceptance of CLEP and transfer credit can depend on the specific exam, score, course equivalency, and degree program. Policies may also vary by department and by the student’s academic standing. The most reliable source for current CLEP and transfer-credit guidance is the college’s official registrar or academic records office.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on D&E's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Davis and Elkins College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
