CLEP Exams at Desales University

DeSales University is a private Catholic university in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. It is sponsored by the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales and offers a campus-based undergraduate and graduate education grounded in the Catholic and Salesian tradition.

The university offers a range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs through its schools and colleges, with strengths in health sciences, business, education, nursing, and the arts. DeSales is also known for programs in the performing arts and for combining classroom study with practical, career-oriented learning.

For students considering CLEP or transfer credit, DeSales University evaluates prior college-level learning through its transfer and credit policies rather than assuming automatic acceptance of every exam or course. CLEP credit, if accepted, is typically subject to institutional review, score requirements, and limits tied to the student’s program and degree requirements.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on DeSales's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Desales University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
